My name is Eva White and I am from Lithuania. In 2011 I moved to London and decided to do nothing else but only photography.
My photography journey started when I was 16 years old, when I discovered an old Russian camera Zenit in my grandparent's shed and I decided to figure out how to take pictures. I was inseparable with the camera for two whole years.
Unfortunately, my family were not wealthy enough to send me to university, to study photography to pursue my ambition. So, I joined a completely different specialty causing me to forget about photography. My fascination and devotion arose after eight years, when my first daughter was born. My husband bought me a camera as a gift to start taking pictures of our new family which began my soon career as a photographer.
Today, I am mom of two daughters, Liepa and Meta and my kids are my biggest inspiration both as a parent and as a photographer.
I am a natural light portrait photographer specializing in children, family and maternity photography. I aim to create dreamy and poetic images. The subject always has a deep connotation with nature. Sometimes, I am looking for unnatural tones and textures to blur the line between dreams and reality. When creating a picture, I usually have an idea based on colour. I create a world of hues and colour saturation that reflect my personal subjective reality. I don’t imagine myself not in portrait photography. Even in the most beautiful, breath taking and astonishing scenery, someone must be there to tell the story to the viewers.
